Jennifer Cirrito joins elite group of 27 Tampa Bay Business Journal honorees
Tampa, FL – September 10, 2019 – Kforce Senior Vice President of Business Operations, Jennifer Cirrito has been named an honoree for this year’s Tampa Bay BusinessWoman of the Year award by Tampa Bay Business Journal. This award honors Tampa Bay's most powerful and influential business leaders from a variety of industries.
Cirrito joins the ranks of alumni BusinessWoman of the Year recipient, Kforce Chief Operations Officer, Kye Mitchell. “Jenn holds herself to the highest standards of integrity and exceptional service. Not only has this earned her the respect of those she leads but also their admiration. I’m personally grateful to work with Jenn and I know the firm has been positively impacted by her influence,” said Mitchell.
As Senior Vice President of Business Operations, Cirrito is responsible for all operational functions from onboarding new customers through the offboarding of consultants after their assignment. The work that her team of nearly 250 associates does on a daily basis directly impacts firm performance and the experience of our customers.
“Kforce took a chance on me some fourteen years ago and I, in turn, work tirelessly day in and day out to make our firm better by asking the tough questions, constantly tinkering with process to make things the best they can be and giving my all to the people I work with,” said Cirrito.
In addition to Cirrito’s business accomplishments, she has supported a focus on female leadership at Kforce by leading the first women and balance leadership panel in 2017, followed by annual events each year. Through these efforts Cirrito inspires the women of Kforce to ‘have it all’ while maintaining a positive balance. Cirrito has also received more than ten awards for outstanding performance, values and leadership within the firm.
A panel of judges selected this year's slate of honorees from hundreds of nominations. Criteria included business success, community involvement, leadership ability and influence in the region. More than 300 people were nominated and only 27 honorees were chosen.
“I am humbled and so grateful to be recognized by the Tampa Bay community in this way. This is an absolute team win! The Business Operations team and my partners are some of the best in the business, allowing us to charge forward together for positive change,” said Cirrito.
An awards ceremony will be held at Tampa Marriott Water Street on Friday, September 13. Tampa Bay BusinessWomen will be celebrated along with the Angie Joseph Excellence in Mentorship and Lifetime Achievement award recipients. Cirrito will attend to celebrate outstanding businesswomen throughout the community.
